Life in the England MTC...

England is amazing! It is so pretty here! I love it! Every day has been beautiful and sunny! My teacher Sis. Loynes (from Ireland) said that it is like this for about two weeks and that's summer then on to winter! Kind of funny but whatever works I guess! =)

My companion is amazing and I love her so much!!! Her name is Sis. Matthews and she is from South Africa, Durban to be more specific. She is teaching me her South African ways of saying things because her accent is close to the British accent. Yesterday, she told me I needed to fix what side of the sidewalk I walk on so I am trying to work on walking on the left. It’s weird! But I'm working on it. We joke around all the time about what the right way of saying things is but it is fun. She is super sweet. Sis. Matthews and I get along perfectly. There isn’t anything that we don't honestly agree on which is so great!

There are a total of 52 of us in this MTC. We all came at the same time and are all leaving at the same time. There are 18 sisters and the rest are elders! My district has 4 sisters and 5 elders. They are super funny and we are starting to all get along great together and so that is a lot of fun! We are the biggest MTC group they have had so far! In January there were 14 and they have averaged 24 normally. So it is interesting for them to have so many of us for so few for them.

One of the best things we do daily is workout time! We never leave this building other than when we are going to work out! Sis Matthews and I like to go on walks. They have a map of where we are allowed to go and it is super pretty! The other time we were allowed out was Sunday during our free time! I love how pretty it is here!

My newest discovery is that mission work is really, really, really hard! Our first few lessons have been hard and not going well... but yesterday we had a breakthrough! We taught Collin (our male teacher Bro. Hodgkiss who was acting) and it went really well! I think we have finally figured it out! That makes me super happy! It gave me confidence that I can do this for the next 18 months! Also my memorising and putting into my own words is getting better. I struggled to explain dispensations and finally yesterday figured it out! So that is super awesome!!!
