I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT.....

Ah! I LOVE being a missionary! Sorry I most likely say that every week but each day and week seems to be better! It is crazy that I have been here for a month! That doesn't seem real! I love England! Even though it is cold and wet all the time! Oh funny story!!!

You know how in cartoons and things you see the car drive by and splash the water on people? Yeah so I saw a car drive by and splash water on a day that it was a downpour (about 3 days this week!) and I told Sister Merrill that it would be funny to watch that happen to someone. That night, we were headed back to our flat and we were soaking wet! All of the sudden, a car came driving past and sent water flying all over us! It was soooooo funny! We just stood there laughing really hard! When we got to our flat, we had to put all of our clothes in the dryer because they were dripping wet! It was the best experience! =)

One thing I really love about a mission is how much it has helped me realise all that the atonement does for us! Each day no matter how hard the day has been I get to start fresh the next day because of the atonement. It wasn't something I fully appreciated before. The idea that I get a fresh start each day is the best thing ever! I love it!!!

Chinese! This week was so great! I had a breakthrough... sadly not in the language. I LOVE Chinese people! =) LOVE LOVE LOVE them! I have so much respect for them and for those that come here and accept the gospel! One of our investigators was told by his parents he couldn't get baptised and the week before I came the sisters fasted with him. This week he told us he can be baptised when school is done so we picked a day in October! Such a miracle!!! Oh I love it! They are so faithful and have to learn of God because they know nothing but they are trusting and pray until they know for sure! It is such a wonderful thing to watch happen. Oh the other hand a lot of them aren't open to it. I have decided that China will open form the inside out though. It will be such a wonderful thing to watch happen! =)

As for the language, it is okay. It is a very interesting experience to be sitting in a lesson not knowing what is happening and receive revelation of something I need to say. Although I can say that I understand (maybe even more so) what it is like for people learning a language to go into a lesson and not know what is happening. At least they know some words. Luckily I know simple words that give me hints of what is happening. I can start and end a prayer in Chinese and I do =) the middle is still in English but hopefully I can start working on that this week. I can also say I don't know/ I don't understand in two different ways! =) yep I'm brilliant =) (British people use brilliant all the time I love it!)

BELLA!!! OH MY GOODNESS I AM SO THANKFUL FOR BELLA!!! Please give my kitty a huge hug for me! For some reason (a prompting) I felt like I should put a pic of Bella in with my family pictures I carry with me. I did this about 2 weeks ago or so and didn't think much of it. This week we went to a less active's house. She wasn't home but her daughter was. She talked to us for a little on the door step but didn't want to let us in because it was "a mess" and there were three cats. I told her I loved cats and we started talking. I got really excited and asked her if she wanted to see a picture of my kitty! She said the picture won her over and she let us in! She just found out some bad medical news and so we were able to go back yesterday with the elders to give her a blessing. Also, she said we can come back more and she wants her partner to take the discussions and her mom was there for the blessing! So, thank you Bella!!! =) Also, thank you Dad for letting me keep her! Little did you know it would help me on my mission! ;)

I LOVE BEANS ON TOAST!!! EAT IT! Yep that is what I will eat in college! It is SO good! =)

So Saturday night, we found out we were going to be in charge of a fireside on Sunday. Well, we were told earlier but they never told us what we were doing till Saturday. So Sunday about an hour before we got with the other sisters and planned it. It was such an incredible experience! The spirit was really strong and some of the young women want to go teaching with us now!

Also this week, WE WENT TO THE TEMPLE!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the temple! =) There is so much peace and happiness and it is the best place ever!!! I walked in and I felt at home. It is the most incredible feeling! We also got to eat in the cafeteria! Which we liked because they feed missionaries for free! =)

Well, I love you all so very much! Remember to share your testimony with everyone! Also, take good care of the missionaries because they love free food and the member’s involvement!

Love always,
Sister Hubbard
